Well, I went down for the PCA club races this weekend and finally got to see the new track.  And now this coming weekend will feature AMA Suprbikes.

I plan to head down on Saturday to enjoy some racing.  Is anyone else going?

I was thinking about being a vendor there, however the people running that part of track seem pretty unprofessional and for the price there charging I decided to decline Instead I'll be headed to the Glen for a BMWMOA event.

The Super bikes put on one hell of a show and I hope the event goes well.

Nick, you were right.  AMA puts on a great show.  Before I went down, I was assured by some so-called "experts" that this event would not draw as big a crowd as Grand Am.  They were right.  AMA "dwarfed" all other attendance records at NJMP to date, according to the Atlantic City Papers.

And the racing...wow!!  I can see why you left cars for motorcycles.  While cars are fun in a participatory manner, nothing(except maybe Top Fuel) can beat bikes from a spectator point of view.  These guys are definitely gods!  The way they contort themselves is nothing short of amazing. And for accessibility, we were allowed anywhere we wanted to go.  Seems like pro motorcycle racing is still in its "underground infancy" here in the States.  But I can only see this growing in the future.  But for now, I'll just keep this little secret to myself. Wink

PS - Saw Mladdin go down at T1, slide, and then run back to his bike and ride away!
