The drill and the sawsall are your best friends in the diet program. There is a s**t load of metal that can come out if you don't mind your car looking like SWISS CHEESE. Confusedhock:Confusedhock:Big GrinCool

Good point Mike.   Darren you could follow Shannon's suggestion to me and loose 30lbs.  I am getting there, but taking weight out of the car is easier. Sad

You've really gotta watch it when drilling and sawing to save weight. You don't want to end up with a Lotus. There is always the funny anecdote that explains how a Lotus is built so light..."the engineers would begin by removing frame tubes until the car collapsed onto itself. And then they would add back one tube". Cool
