Hey wait a minute!!!!!!.............So you're skipping the most important AX gathering till next year, March or April? I was looking forward to BSing with all you guys and apparently you cancelled. March, April is already next season.......... and another meeting. Lets meet at the Broad Ass (I meant AX) Tavern in Blue Bell, or next door at Phil's Tavern where they have the best ribs in the region on Saturday january 9th. Stop procrastinating,....... Who's in?[/quote]

Nick -- I will be in Tampa with work on Sat 10th Jan but feel free to organize a get together if you want ...... if you organize it, they will come ....... but we will still have a kick off in March / April time

George - better to reschedule than to cancel ..... we would invite you along, but if you drink like you drive, you won't be able to keep us with us Ax boyz,,,,,, :-)

Jon - my bodyfat is higher than your bodyfat ... erm hang on, that's not good is it?

So?.......................... Who's coming?  No pressure, just some good old casual fun.  we'll even give some AX pointers (realy, they are very much like DE tricks of the trade).  I am making a list, so please RSVP.  So far:

Jim Wirt

Nick Betegh

Sorry guys, but I'll be doing heavy metal work at our church to celebrate 12th night on the weekend of the 9th. Someone drink my share for me... don't drive, just drink.

Ok ladies here we go....

Nick,

As it turns out, I know the new principals of the Broad Axe Tavern.  Nick, if we get a good size group, maybe we can get a private room upstairs.  That way Jim won't ask members of the band to get him a fork. You have the best stories and advise.  Just the right prescription to get me thru until the snow melts.

George,

As always, it would be great to see you.  Missed the Mullica Hill trailer but scored another one in Wilmington.  I'm picking up it up next week.  I am moving from ankle deep to waist deep into the DE pool.  Always thanks for giving me the start.

Steve,

Tampa, nice, lots of old people in the Seminole Tribe Hard Rock Casino.  Have fun.  We'll miss you as far as you know.  Hint: Learn to smoke before entering the casino.  It will make it less painful as you inhale the second hand smoke and sear your alveoli.

Jim,

Converse yourself.  We have our road trip later in the month to the Steel City.  Go Steelers!

Chuck,

The only thing heavier than your armour is that AX trophy.  Use an 8 penny nail into a stud to hang it.  Much to the chagrin of Lady Donna, it was in our kitchen for this past year.  As I hung it during her absence and without permission, I would not suggest this course of action.  The kitchen is woman space, just like the garage is man space. Lesson learned.

I have a hall pass for Saturday the 9th.  I'm in as long as there is no more talk of body fat.  Not that there's anything wrong with that.  Bud Light is a good idea.  It will be bikini season before long.  What time Sir Nick?

Mikey

Larry Herman lives around the corner........ I'll be very happy to see him. I'll even buy him a Bud lite if he shows.

The time will be at 7:30, so that those who want to eat also (ribs) can do so while drinking and conversing.

Phil's Tavern has great TV's, and I'm sure the game will be on every set. then, again, you may not want to watch if they play like last week. Jon, we will be there till they kick us out, so come and join us anytime.

Jim, don't be a wooz! What better company could you have to watch a game like that? Last week, the EAGLES lost because: 1. They were told to, or 2. It was that time of the month for McNabb.
