Spring Fling: Saturday May 8th, 2010
Lambertville, NJ

Well, I hate to do this and disappoint everyone, but it has recently become apparent that I will not be able to organize and run the drive on May 8th. Several conflicts have arisen in the last few days that will make it hard for me to find time to do the pre-run and the drive itself.

I hope to find a date in a month or so that will allow us to run the drive at a later date. Sad

It's on my calendar also...  I'm looking forward to it. Really wanted to go on the last one, but my daughter's game won..

Looking forward to this journey, had a blast last time!

Will there be a GPS download available for the route?

My eyes widen, and a smile forms when I draw in the first breath after closing the door... Ahh, that smell..

From our hacienda we would have to wake up at o'dark hundred to make it in at 7AM.  Lady Donna and I are planning on spending a quite Friday overnight close to Lambertville, sans children.  Any suggestions on a good place to stay in the area?

Glad to have you all along - I'm already looking forward to the drive. I'll dig out the route this weekend and make a couple of tweaks to get rid of a traffic light that I don't like... if I have time I might even go out to drive parts of it and have some fun. Smile

Sorry, no downloadable route for the GPS. I've not figured out how to do that yet.

As for places to stay - a previous participant stayed at the Lambertville Station and gave it a good review. Another place to try is the old Best Western - now called The Nevermore on Rt 202 in New Hope. I've no clue if it's any good, so you might want to google reviews and check it out before you call them.

I reccomend not publishing the route before the run. There have been occasions where the local constabulary has gotten their mitts on them and created a nasty "surprise".

JMHO,

Jay

BTW, looks like I won't be the only 968 Cool
