I'm excited to make my first trek to VIR. Where should I look for the videos that you mentioned?

I just activated a Rennlist account but I'm a little overwhelmed with the scope of the forum so far. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=...onal&hl=en http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=...onal&hl=en

Thank you for putting up that link. Some good video. Really enjoy watching other vids especially racing.
Watched the RA race video in its entirety. That's an excellent example of how not to start a race. Very hard for me to understand what he is doing although at NASA races there is lot's of contact especially at the start so he may be in avoidance mode. All in all after I stopped screaming "go, go" like an idiot at the start I really enjoyed it!! Just watched the rest. He has a hard time with the car. Ok for DE but hard to race. It's a handful for him.

Thanks for the link Tony. I especially enjoyed the Lamborghini clip including the camera perspective.
The NSX spin was exciting too. I was wondering about your take on the spin. The Acura driver turned in to it too much, right?

Josh,
I did not watch the whole thing. I will eventually. I have a DVD from rennlist of Lea Kean (spelling?) at VIR in a 996 cup car but I could not find it. The video quality is excellent and he is an amazing driver. Are you going to the car show gig? I might be able to burn another copy for you. When you think you are good with the track, watch it another 50 times. The track is fun and fast and the more you can visualize ahead of time and the more you understand turn names/#'s, the better off you will be. Tony
