Smile By chance does anyone have a 987 bra I could borrow to bring a car home.  The year is 05 if it matters.   I want to 3M the front and would prefer not wasting the money on a traditional bra.

I work in Holland, lower Bucks, county and live outside of North Wales.

Thanks,

Mark

We have been using a low tack carpet protector at track events found at Lowes.  It comes in a roll about 2' wide and is cheap.  Doesn't go on real smooth but it stays on at speed and comes off without leaving any residue.

Thanks.  What is the product name? I just need some coverage until I can get the 3M.

Smile SC, Any word from your source on the product name of the film?

Unfortunately the only film I have ever seen anyone use at DE has been the roll on liquid type that sets-up (rarity) and of course 3M.

I will need to get it tomorrow since I am leaving early Saturday to pick the car up, so your information is most appreciated.

Hi Mark Smile

Jumping in to Spec Boxster? Giving up on the 944?

Did you search the Lowes site for carpet protector? Maybe this is it?

Hi John,

None of the above. Just a nice weather street car. Being unfamiliar with a carpet product where I don't want to screw up the car paint, I was hoping for some prior experience and a specific product name.

How is the family and how is the car running?

Not John!!  [Image: roflmao.gif]  He's RabbitGuy  but rarely posts....

Things are good, the car is a hoot and (knock on wood) runs like a clock   Cool

Good luck with your new ride!

Smile  Thank you.  I am just going to look for a low tack product at lowes on my way home.  At this point my wife is pushing me to trailer it home since she doesn't want to deal with driving home in the traffic.
