Looking for opinions -- I had a shop (Designer Wraps in NJ www.designerwraps.com) do a few car designs -- the latest design is below followed by what the car looks like now.  Should I do something like this or just leave it the way it is???

Any thoughts/opinions appreciated!

Since you asked for opinions, I'd leave the base black and add either white/red, yellow, or GT3 orange vinyl on top.  I'd also extend the side graphic more foreward to give a more aerodynamic/sleek appearance.  I'm adding some vinyl to my car as well.  However, I'm going with a more subdued simple stripe down the middle of the car... hopefully, I'll have it before the club race at the Glen next weekend.

What Glen said.

I really like the second car he posted  - Yellow with Black.  The orange would be very cool as well.

If you don't mind me asking, what's the cost of doing something like the wrap you depicted?

A wise man on this forum once recommended a more economical trailer than an aluminum Trailex because he thought the extra money would be better spent on go-fast pieces for his car. Wink

I like your car and less is more, style-wise.

Darren

The wrap looks great!  If less is more approach I wonder how it would look as designed but without the blue portions.

Another black car I saw wrapped with design and then photos is here http://www.renntrack.com/forums/showthre...e-your-own!

Well, I see enough combination Red, white and yellow graphic cars on the track (love solid yellow but not yellow on a black car - reminds me of a bumble bee and they scare me).... but hey, do like that gorgeous blue!  I like the mockup design...

I'm a little partial to unusual looks, those not seen every day... I cringe every time I see aother darn white Cayman like this weekend at pocono.  Maybe that's why I put my headlight checkerboard tape on... and my black CS stripe...

Probably if you use SPEED YELLOW TongueTongueBig Grin

anyway, doesn't that stuff add weight to the car?

Black is stealth............ they don't see you coming till it's too late.

If you can't go fast, at least you can look good.
