Porsches & Polo's Vineyard tour & Dinner (AKA "drive & Dine") will be meeting at Holbert's Porsche on the 19th of June at 11am
Our first stop will be Wycombe Vineyards http://www.wycombevineyards.com for a "tasting", cheese sampling & a photo op in the Vineyard. Wycombe specializes in dry European white wines, all of Wycombe's wines are grown & bottled on site, you won't be disappointed.
Next it's off for a 20 mile drive on some of Bucks County's twisty back roads ending up at the Delaware River, bring your "Dramamine" !!!!! A 9 mile drive up the scenic river road (Rt 32) will bring us to the Polo Field located in Tinicum Park for a 2 pm Polo match. http://www.tinicumpolo.org
Those wishing to stay for dinner are invited to the Black Bass Hotel http://www.blackbasshotel.com situated on the Delaware River in Lumberton PA just 6 mi south of the polo field for a 5:30 dinner, join us for some fantastic food, scenic views & camaraderie. The Historic Hotel was recently restored by the Thompson's of Thompson BMW, Lexus, Toyota & the future owners of Holbert's Porsche/ Audi/ VW....
Feel free to bring your own picnic basket with your favorite wine & cheese. The wine tasting is $5 per person, Tinicum Polo club charges a $5 per car & the dinner is split the usual drive & dine way, the total bill divided by the number of people attending.
