Does anyone have a good source for in-depth service manuals a la Haynes or Chilton?

For which vehicle?

There are sources on the internet for pdf's of older models such as here.

Bentley publishes some pretty thorough service manuals although very recent model years may have yet to come out.

Sunset Porsche in Oregon is also a good source of printed service manuals for Porsches. These are the multi-volume manuals that tech's use. They can be pricey. You'll have to call them though, the don't have an online store.

All these are much more detailed than Hayne's or Chilton. I've rarely found Haynes to be much help and never saw a Chilton manual for a Porsche although I'm sure they're out there.

Once you buy a "Bentley", you never go back.  Amazon carries them.

Terry, you really didn't comment on which vehicle you needed but based on your signature one can only assume you are referring to a book for your 986 or your Cayenne. I have the Bentley manual and the PDF file that Chris had posted, both are great information resources.

Thank you all.

Looking for the Cayenne.  I have alldatadiy for the 986 which is fairly good.  Electrical diagrams are important.
