Has anyone ever seen the Techart Type 1 spoiler installed on a Cayman? In order to install as shown above, one would need to dissable the factory spoiler (don't want to do that). I'm told I can scoot it forward an inch or so, but that can look dramatically different.

Anyone have one installed on their Cayman? Love to see a picture!!

No haven't seen one of these on any Caymans. Sonny Waters has a larger tail on his. I am not going to do any aero on mine but if I did I would put the on Cayman R wing. I think it looks classy. IMHO

Cayman "R" wing? Not sure I know what that looks like. I enjoy every angle of the cayman except one: from the side. Looks too much like a wedge and the spoiler breaks it up I think.

Anyone else... thanks, Lainey!

Well, I've devided I don't want to dissable the factory spoiler, and I won't purchase this until I see another Cayman who has one installed shimmied forward (an inch or so could change the look dramatically).

If someone has seen pictures of the Type 1 spoiler installed accordingly, I'd love to see it!

Hey Drew... thanks for the response. Yeah, that's the one. My problem is that I have a factory spoiler that goes up and down based on speed (does the Boxter have that?). Anyway, I don't know what that might look like if I push it forward an inch so that the spoiler "clears."

I just wondered if anyone has a picture of what that looks like (up and down). Thanks!Wink

Thanks Drew! I see the picture from the rear; it's a little tough to imagine what it would look like on my Cayman. Sure appreciate the effort. It looks awesome on your car however.

Hope you survive the storm. You're not too far from me; we got four inches!
