John (thinks he) is ready.

Heh heh. Well, since it's his maiden voyage should we let him pick the track?

SCCA allows 16 year old licensed drivers.  Waiting for answer from CPA on this.

Also enrolling him in SCCA Street Survival School, 4/1.

I'm still planning on Philly's SCCA event at Citizen's Bank Park on March 25. Anyone else interested?

BTW - Sorry Nick, but I didn't think the Autocross listing on the forum should have "is AX dead?" as it's lead thread....Tongue

Sorry Chuck, I meant the "AX forum". Anyway, we need some banter, smack talk and discussions.. I got cabin fever. .

I know what you mean, Nick. My wife says I've been mumbling "vroom, vroom!" in my sleep. I've been thinking about wearing my helmet to work. Last week I had to physically restrain myself from doing a serpentine on some poor PPL crew's road cones. March 25th can't come too soon! Now, smack talk. Let's pick on that brit slowpoke Steve McMorn!

Steve got himself a GT-3, like most bad drivers. I told him to bring that thing out to an AX and I will teach him how to drive it.

Now, where is Arena? Minikin has a new fast car........ I like to see him at the AX one of these days...While Arena still has his car on the lift, I like to see that Cayman burn some rubber.

Nick, you have cabin fever in July.  No, we're not going to make the Suds Council a monthly event.  Only annually, like Planes and Porsches.   Old Steve and Young Curtis better get crakalaking and help out arena.

Steve WILL be make it to (at least) 5 events this year in the GT3. He also will be buying me beers after I whoop his ass.

Regarding the Cayman, I'm on the verge of making some very big moves... Give me just a couple more weeks...

Great! The Cayman is a natural for autocross. The weight distribution is near perfect. Just don't sell the car before the season starts Cool
