Anyone else planning to make the trip? Current weather forecast suggests the snow will be melted by then, highs next week in the 50s and rain.

I'm missing the VIR trip because of a spring break conflict. I think I must be nuts to try SP the first weekend in March.

I think Tony is planning on going to this event to stress test the new motor.

I'm in and I think the car will be ready. Keep praying - for the car and the weather.

Hey fellas,

I'm in. I also thought I was crazy to try to get on the track this early in the year. Let's just hope for the best. I'll be breaking in a fresh engine so it's ready for VIR(and the rest of the year). Fingers crossed for a few reasons.

My thoughts exactly. I honestly don't care if I only get 2 sessions out on the track the whole weekend, I just need to know all is well before lugging the car all the way to VIR.

You're just gettin' that thing back together now....damn, Sharon must have done a job on it last year! Confusedhock:

Gotcha. Well, good luck getting it ready in time, and I'll find you in the paddock to chat and oogle at fancy new car stuff.

I expect to be out there as well, only to spectate though. A couple of my clients are instructors with Potomac and they've mentioned catching a few laps with them in their cars. Seat time anyway you can get it!
