Not some rustbucket one either. I have been into VW Porsches for a loong timenow and this one is the best I ever had. Garaged its whole life and low miles. Classic tags so no more inspections.
Very solid, no flex and nicely set up. High compression big bore engine, stainless heater boxes, bursch, pertronix, K&N upgrades to the engine. Welt shift kit, 19mm master cylinder, stainless lines, BMW front calipers, turbo tie rod ends, bilsteins, lowered and AX aligned. Custom 3 pc HRE wheels, 15X7 you will never see a set of nicer wheels on a 914.
Great car for weekend drives, AX or track events. You will learn good driving techniques faster in this car than almost any Porsche(or spin out alot!)
Has some minor maintenance issues I will take care of if you want to pay 7K, or 6K as it sits. Also comes with some very nice extra goodies like a counterweighted, balanced crank/rod/bearing set. Ski rack, extra case, extra brake components, and a bunch more of stuff less interesting but worth having.
Check out the pics of the July AX, I was the only 914 running. Once times are posted you will see how fast it is.
