Hey Everyone!

My nephew is going to be driving soon and I'm curious what the requirements are for participating in the Street Survival School? Do the teens need to be licensed or can they just have a learner's permit in PA?

thanks
scott

Due to liability restrictions imposed by the host club, participants must be at least 16 years old by the date of the event, they must hold a valid state issued driving credential (permit or license) that allows the registered participant to drive to and from the event without the requirement for a licensed driver to be in the car with them

btw we are trying to get PCA national to change this to allowing drivers with a permit under their insurance - as one person said - this is like pushing a bolder uphill....but we are trying.

I just don't get it sometimes...national has no qualms about allowing drivers to partake in high speeds on a track yet they have a hard time teaching kids the proper method of driving skills before improper ones are ingrained in them.
