I am helping an individual sell their husband's baby - a 1982 928 in near perfect shape - light blue exterior with dark blue leather interior.

36k miles and hardly driven - twice in last two years.  5sp racing shift pattern - 1st gear down and to the left.  Garaged and covered always.  2nd owner - bought from a Dr. in 1995.  Exterior/Interior in great shape - no dings, dents, scratches of any kind.  Everything electronic works (windows, seats, etc.).  Car runs good but does have an oil leak (and minor battery acid leak).  When I drove the car the oil was full and was last filled over one year ago.  It started and ran fine.

I test drove the car over a weekend and took about 15 pics of the car to show off what great shape it is in.

If you're seriously interested, please post a reply, send me an email rtrmembership@verizon.net, or call me at home 610-865-0550.

The owner would like the car to go to someone special that will take care of the car the way her husband did.

I didn't go through her husband's records, so I don't know but I'll do my best:

1. Maintenance was done regularly on the car according to his wife but I personally did not view any records, so I don't know. Based on the limited driving over the last several years, I'm sure he probably didn't have that done. So, you will probably need to replace the timing belt regardless. It needs to be replaced once every 5 years according to Dougherty.

2. Clutch seemed a little on the weak side but did not slip when I drove it. It could use replacing in the near future. Dougherty said the clutches on those cars are relatively easy to replace (easy to get to).

3. I believe the A/C does work but I don't remember specifically testing it out. I believe the blower/fan was on when we fired the car up.

4. Records are in the glove box of the car.

5. She'd like to get around $10k for the car.
