Hello RTR Folks,

I posted the following message on the Early S Registry Forum http://www.early911sregistry.org/forum/showthread.php?t=15079 in hopes of finding at set of CN36 Pirelli Tires (185/70/15 & 215/60/15) just for show.  Maybe someone here has some stashed away or knows someone who does.

For now, I am just looking for a decent set to use on my RS for shows (2007 PCA Parade in SanDiego). After the Concours, I'll have a proper set of fresh speedrated tires mounted up when I'm ready to ding that beautiful Signal Yellow paint up a little and drive it as an RS was made to be driven.

I know that any tires out there are likely to be pretty old and aren't going to be suitable for much more than moving it around a bit. I'm really looking for the correct tires that will hold air and that we can clean up to a reasonable standard for presentation.

Any help would be appreciated.  We are getting down to the end of the 2+ year project and this is one of the last items we need to come up with.

Ok, who is hanging on to a serviceable set of CN 36 Pirelli Tires - stock size (185/70/15 & 215/60/15) and would like them to find a new home on a '73 RS? I know this may be a needle in a haystack search, but I thought if I were going to find them anywhere.....someone on this board would know where a set might be.

We are getting down to the final stages of a multi-year full restoration on RS 9113601018 and I'm trying to get it all correct if possible. I'd love to mount up a set on the beautiful Fuchs that Harvey did for me.

Leads welcomed

Did you ever find the CN36s you were looking for?   I have a near new set but they are 14".   Know anyone who needs 14"?

Hello Guy,

I came across several sets of 185/70/15, fronts but no 215/60/15 rears that anyone would sell.  A collector in NC has a new set of both but wouldn't sell them at any price.  I gave up and went for a new set of like-sized P6000, which seems to be acceptable from the technical judging crowd and looks.  Can't help you on someone looking for 14s, but I'll keep my eyes open.
