So, the days are numbered before my car ends up sitting under a dust cover for the winter. What will your car be doing over the Winter months?

The poll above will allow multiple selections.

I'll run it any day that the weather is clear, the ground is dry, and the temp is OK for the summer tires.

Actually, under a waterproof cover inside the garage, to be more specific. Hey, if there's anything worth doing, it's worth overdoing!

Mine also, the garage door always drops water droplets on it when I open it after a storm... the cover will stay off until after I've given the car I thorough detailing, then I'll winterize it.

Here's a good article on winterizing your car....

My Boxster will be ready and waiting for any nice weekend to go out.  But once the salt hits the road, I'll wait till it washes off before the next outing.

Yeah, that's my main concern. I'll drive on clean roads and at a decent temperature, but once salt hits, then it will take until March to wash away - pity considering that my car will be insured all winter.

No garage queen here.  The snow tires will go on soon after I return from Summit (assuming I get to go; I'm wait listed).

I'm currently window shopping for mods that I can reasonably do over the winter... I'm thinking interior cosmetic touches right now... maybe more aluminum is needed. Smile

...got it, got it, got clear 3rd brake lights. Smile

As for Wednesday, it's my plan to attend. I have a racquetball game after work, so whether I make it depends on how lucky I am at getting everything together in time.
