Larry,

Great video.  One question - It appears that you're short shifting just as you exit the carousel.  Is the benefit that it allows you to stay on the gas and keep the car stable, rather than trying to shift in the middle of the short straight that's up ahead?

That's exactly it. If I wait to shift between 7&8, it throws off my timing and I lose momentum into 8. Plus hitting the apex in 8 is so critical because it is the entrance to an uphill straight. I don't appear to lose anything with the shift, and I gain a lot entering 8.

Steve, you can upload the video into video.google.com It's a free site that allows you to store videos and forward, link and view them. It takes a little time to upload and google reviews them for content (no adult, etc.) before allowing it to be viewed online.

There are some sites that allow you to share videos.  Mine is a paid site but I can host it if you can get it to me (via cd, e-mail, etc)

November will be my first time at Summit Pt and watching an instructor drive the course is valuable. I've been studying the course on their website but it was hard to visualize.

Great idea posting the video Larry and good use of the forum. Thanks!
