and as the tentative DE schedule has now been released.....

the tentative date for the second 'RTR PLANES & PORSCHES CHARITY AUTOX' in aid of Lou Gehrig's disease is Sunday 7th June 2009.

Save the date now and help us raise even more money in 2009 for this worthy cause

Cheers

Mike,

Nice work.  I like the idea of having Make a Wish at Thunderbolt!

Four three day events at four different tracks.  Hmmm....  Awesome!  Can't wait for Lightning.

Nice work by the Speed Council.   Just the right mix of WV in my opinion driving they best SP has to offer.

Agreed, looking forward to MAW @ NJMP!

Mike,

Two questions:

1.  When will the schedule be final so I can ask for the days off from the boss (that would be my wife)?

2.  Could you please provide websites or addresses so I can figure out where these tracks are located?  I only have one DE under my belt at Thunderbolt.  These other names are not familar.

Thanks

A very GREEEN Green Run Group member,

Mike Kling

Mike,

We have letters of intent with the tracks and that "should" be good, but you never know until you have signed contracts.  And then that's not even 100 percent. Sad

I'll go out on a limb and say you can start the time off negotiations with your boss.  Worse case scenario you have to renegotiate.

I'm not certain of web site addresses for these tracks but I'm guessing Google would give you more information than you care for.

Shenandoah and Summit Point are at the same location.  Google Summit Point Raceway.

Pocono is, well, just up the road on the other side of the mountain.  Google Pocono Raceway.

Thunderbolt and Lightning are at the new NJMP facility.  Google NJMP.

And everyone knows where the Glen is. :dude:

As you comment on your “green? status, have you read the DE manual on our web site?  Is there anything we should include in there to help newbie’s?

Shenandoah and Summit Point: http://www.summitpoint-raceway.com/ Select the three tracks button to see the tracks.

Pocono: http://www.poconoraceway.com/maps_facilitymap.asp The North Course is on the left.

Lightning and Thunderbolt: http://www.njmp.com/tracks.html

Watkins Glen: http://www.theglen.com/seating_charts_maps/track/ Look at the two maps at the bottom.

This is an EXCELLENT schedule and I look forward to do EACH AND EVERY Riesentöter DE this year!
