I've heard from a number of people that this indoor kart track (http://www.midatlanticgrandprix.com/) is nicer than Arnold's with fast karts (40 mph and 1½ G cornering) on a ¼ mile track.

How about a winter DE/Club Race/ Social there?

National PCA does not allow use to have Karting Events that are put on by the region.  So this would have to be an informal gathering.  This has something to do with insurance I beleive but never really understood the reasoning.

I also heard the same things about the track.  I know several who would probably attend.

So Chris, just find a good Saturday or Sunday and post it. This would be a good way to get rid of the winter blues.

Chris,

I went a few times and the carts are really pretty fast. To be really fast there it helps to brake while still on the gas (owners get pissed thought) to keep the motor reving. They give you a printout after every run with all your lap times and the times of the other drivers. It can get very busy there so you might want to call and ask them when it would be the best time to attend. Maybe we could rent the track if we got enough people to commit. Scout out the faster karts...........and give them to the heavy guys Big Grin
