Hi,

Is anyone planning on going up to Hershey for the swap meet?

My wife and I will be driving up on Friday and thought it might be fun to have some company.

On a similar note. Does anyone know the Hershey area? Thinking about organizing a cruise around Hershey before heading home on Saturday. Looking for a 50ish mile circuit full of "Porsche built" back roads.

Thanks in advance,

Jay

I plan on leading a caravan to the Hershey Swap leaving from Plymouth Meeting on Saturday.  I believe there will be one from the Lehigh Valley as well.  More info to follow as plans are made.

A group of us will be going from the West Chester area as well --- we went last year and it was a blast (the ride up) and meet had some cool stuff but the ride to and from (with valentine1's on) was way more fun  Smile

I planning to attend if you don't mind a "new guy" tagging along. Any info on what hotels your staying at in Hersey to make reservations? Guess I'll jump in with the Plymouth Mtg group if thats cool. The touring drive sounds great. Thanks

Hershey is not far and the Swap is only a one day event.  So we usually caravan out and most members leave individually when they are swapped out.  Some of us will probably grab some food in Hershey and then drive back as a group. Put it on your calendar and join us.  Watch the forum for details on where and when to meet.

^^^^ Exactly. No need for a hotel (unless you plan on eating way too much chocolate) - just nice ride up - swap til ya drop - then ride home.

The Holiday Inn Harrisburg - Hershey had some rooms set aside for the 968 Gathering. I believe that the "hold" period has expired. Rooms may be available for both Friday and Saturday night if you choose to stay up there. There will be a 968 Corral, but we have used this hotel before and they are sensitive to Porsche owners parking requirements.

Hope to meet some of you at Hershey. I will be at the 968 corral near the concours area on Saturday (you can find me by my plate Big Grin).

OT: Isn't it time for Wayne to plan a Spring Fling...had a blast last year.

Jay

Our first RTR Road Show will be Sunday, March 26th.  If anyone is planning on staying over, why not run in the AX?
