From the web site :

The car everyone has been asking to see and hear run - the Porsche “Hippie? 917 - will be demonstrated Saturday, November 6th at Noon. Our special guest of honor will be Vic Elford, one of the few drivers who mastered the  917. Joining the 917 will be two other important racing Porsches: the 911 that Elford drove to win the 1968 Monte Carlo rally and the Havoline 962 that won Sebring twic]

I've been to the museum a few times ...awesome collection.
Any one going ....sounds like a fun day!

Thanks Craig, I appreciate the heads up.  I have had the framed poster from the Radnor Hunt series for years and it would be great to see and hear it run.  I made it to the "Tribute to Sebring" demonstration day in March, at which they ran the Cunningham C4R, Jaguar D-Type, and their infamous Cobra Daytona Coupe.  You really aren't going to see that every day.  It was awesome.  I was hoping for some Daytona donuts/drifting--which didn't happen--but they did punch it a few times, and they ran two at once to simulate competition.  Not to mention the commentary.  I would highly recommend the Demonstration Days to anyone that can make it.

There is a one-day Scattenbaum DE at Thunderbolt 11/6 I was considering, but you might have changed my mind.  If I could somehow get my runs consolidated and the museum to adjust the demonstration time accordingly, I could put together one helluva Saturday...

Thanks!

Mark
