It took us 3 visits but we finally saw the inside of the new museum last month.

The first picture, taken from the customer Kasino, shows the site work/foundation in May of '06.

The interior was remarkably close to the production car.  The fan/vent in the door didn't make it though.   As the 986 and 996 had essentially the same interior, it's incredibly dated considering is was designed in the early '90s and stayed in production through 2004.
