I wasn's able to get to NJMP this weekend, but I was able to loosen the leash that had been on my new ride during this beautiful past weekend.  I even put my nannies in competition mode.

Roll call - who else depressed their accellerator a bit more than usual this past beautiful weekend, in a safe controlled manner of couse?

What a great weekend for driving! The snow is finally gone along with most of the debris on the roads! Took the car out for a 2 hr ride on Saturday then another hour or so yesterday.

After the winter that we've been through, this weekend was fantastic!Smile

Awesome weekend at NJMP Tbolt with SCH PCA. The weather was perfect! The temp was 45 during tech and rose to 78 by 2pm on Saturday and 70 on Sunday. The track was dry and fast! SCH had a great turn out. The track is still struggling to grow grass and there is still some dust issues. We ran the chicane on day 2. The most notable changes were some landmarks missing i.e Grandstands, that some driver used as a point towards heading in the octopus, are no longer there and the braking distance indicators were not up at the end of the main straight.
None of the concessions were open. CDOC was open for a few hours on Saturday and  they had very little inventory. Does any one have any info on whether they are going to stay open and if they plan to carry the basics again?

I hope the past weekends weather can be cloned for us and repeated during MAW this year. NJMP Monsoons are a real PITA!
 See ya @ Summit

I spoke to the CDOC people and they told me that they had closed the VIR shop and were going to concentrate on the NJMP store. They said they will be stocked up over the next couple of weeks.

It was a great weekend.   I burned through 3/4 tank of "storage" fuel and got a sun tan to boot.

That's good to hear. At least they are adjusting to current circumstances. I went to their site and it's not up, its in the "pits for repairs". In this economy you can't help but read between lines.
