was wondering if anyone had suggestions for a body shop to paint some formula car pieces, not looking for concours quality.

Thanks for any help

Please don't laugh, but I would suggest Maaco.  I'll bet they would not charge a lot.  I just saw an old beater that was painted by Maaco, and it looked better than a sub $500 paint job should have.

I second the Maaco idea.  For panels off the car they do a great job at a low price.

The paint on my 944 track car was done by Maaco, after 2 1/2 years it still looks great...  The entire car for $299, dupont base/clear coat.

If you go the Maaco route check out thier shop & paint booth ( I noticed you are in DE)  , I used Maaco in Montgromeryville PA,  they have a modern downdraft booth & of course he is one of Meenhans  many "friends" ...

I believe they are independently owned, so be careful where you go.

Well for $299 they paint over dirt and everything else. The shop I use paints a full car very nicely for about $1000 in basecoat/clearcoat, and a lot less for single stage (which is what a $299 paint job is)

Preparation is everything and you get what you pay for.

You can also try EAGLE COLLISION. They are located right off Rt 202 on Rt 100 in Chester Springs, PA. Ask for Rob, and be sure to let him know you're a PCA member.
