Here's a very nice short video from Gene at this past Thunderbolt DE in his 1992 Acura Integra Race Car (my old car).  The new motor seems to be working very nicely and Gene does an awesome job behind the wheel.

He sure doesn't brake much!!!  Keep in mind this car was dyno'd recently at only 142 front wheel horsepower!

Its so funny watching the brake fluid reservoirs (aka mayonnaise bottles) -- they are like g-force sensors.

He passed me really fast.  I guess my legs were tired after pedaling all weekend.

Gene was awesome... there were a few guys driving that car, really really well. Who needs horsepower when you know how to drive? I remember when the last engine blew on the front straight... I say this is how to return in style.

Nicely done!Cool

You're looking pretty good, just need to use the gas a little more and the brakes less Wink What tires are you on?

Gene good driving.  Hold the corner a hair more in T5 and climb on the apex more in T8 (slow speed corner).

I was thinking the same thing -- I think I could find another couple of tenths for him, but not much!!

I found 15 more tenths later on...

That video is a 1:36.88, I have data (but no video) for a lap where I did a 1:35.298 Wink
