ReidSpeed NASA VIR PTE wars - vids

hey guys.

The Probe has been having some kind of weird electrical problem where it sometimes breaks up in right hand turns, and also will occasionally cut out when full throttle. you will hear/see that happen in the vids (most especially on sunday's vid; the problem seems to get much worse when it is hot out, and it was 104 during sun's race. sat's race it rained and lightning delay right before our race, and it was only like 85 when we raced on sat, so it wasn't quite as bad. it was much worse on sun).  was down on power bigtime on sunday.  i was able to hang in there using a combination of super super late braking, and driving at 105% the entire time.  it worked on saturday (plus i wasn't breaking up as bad on sat), sunday, well, not so much...

both Sat and Sun were two of the tightest/closest/most intense races i've had. ever. period. enjoy (read the vimeo descriptions for specifics):

i felt awful about contacting Wade's car (white SE-R) on sunday's race; it was a bad decision to try and pass there. i deserved the DQ, and apologized to him.

PS during the long ride home in the truck, i thought a lot about it. Sunday's race reminded me of a 'slower' BTCC race from the old days.
