2011 AX Eventr # 5 – Corvette Porsche Challenge

The annual Porsche-Corvette Challenge combines a traditional autocross event with an exciting shootout style challenge. With Central PA, PCA at Hershey on Sunday 25th September.

This event is open to all Porsches and Corvettes only.

We run rain or shine.
Schedule of the event:
6:30: Early arrival – setup begins.
7:30: Normal arrival time.
8:00 – 9:00 Registration and Tech
8:00 – 9:15 Course open for walking
9:15 Driver’s meeting. Course closed for walking.
9:30: First car off
12:00 pm – Qualifying finishes. Qualifiers for Challenge round determined
12:30 - Challenge round begins
1:00 - Challenge completed, cleanup and trophy presentations.

$35 for both Porsches and Corvettes*

*Only Porsches and Corvettes can be registered for this event. All other marques will have to wait for another day.


RTR Championship- Points will be awarded for attendance & final position at this event.

I'll be there with a porsche-load of kids who want to go to Hershey Park.  We'll be coming out Rt. 78, so don't look for us at the turnpike.  See everyone there!

I'm registered and looking forward to it. Craig and I did some recon at the Corvette Club event last weekend. Some of those guys are fast, but I think we can take them! If the ground is a little wet maybe that will work in our favor too.
