Bushing replacement

OEM rubber or urethane?  Also considering stiffer sway bar for tighter feel.  Thoughts?

Really depends on your intended use, street or track. A stiffer sway bar(s) can improve handling and have a negligible impact on street comfort IMO. However, they can change the dynamics of the car if over-stiffened or over-stiffened front or back versus the other.

Stiffer bushings often comes with a price, more road noise and vibration transmitted through the chassis. Also, some of the materials used to upgrade bushings have a reputation for becoming noisy (squeaking) down the road. I think Delrin falls into this category. Not a big deal on a track car, but may be something you might not care for on a street car.

For an 02 Boxster S.  Just looking for a stiffer feel on nice curvy roads.  Some AX maybe some DE.

As far as I can tell everything on the suspension is original.  58k miles.


Maybe I'm looking for an excuse to get my hands dirty

The first thing I would do is get a track alignment. Swaybars next, bushings would be way down on the list for a street car.
