RTR Driver's Championship Event # 4 July 15th at Wells Fargo Center Parking Lot Philadelphia

Guys, I have to apologize for the mixup-  The SCCA website was not clear when I originally created the schedule that second day (Sunday) would be held at the stadums in philadelphia rather than Warminster.   I'm having the RTR website updated asap.

Currently, the SCCA's system is giving me a hard time signing up online, so if they don't fix that, we can just register the morning of the event.

 

Is anyone interested in meeting up in Manayunk at 7:30?   There is a parking lot we can use on the corner of Main Street and Levering Street that will be empty that early in the morning, and there is a great coffee shop right there.

I've been communicating with Adam Fuhs, the Philly region Solo chair, and he got things on motorsportsreg.com up and running, so they're good to go!  I'm signed up and looking forward to it..

Sorry, I think that I will be in Charlston, SC next weekend at a national 4 cylinder drag race event. Not crazy about drag race, but my son in law will have a couple of his custom motors running there with high expectations and exposure. His company is called "Tru Billet Performance.

Sorry guys, as I previously stated in other posts, the Downtown Philly autocros  have never been my cup of tea. I can't stand all day in the heat for 3-4 runs.

I'll sit that one out,... I sincerely wish you all a good day in the dry,.. put some sunscreen on and bring a hat. I got first degree burn all over my cheeks and ears last year,...


 

As a side note, on Saturday July 14th there is a great car show in Fleetwood, PA near Kutztown.

I have been there several times, it is a great Site, only German makes, and lots of great looking car, every year I went I always saw a couple of old Carrera RUF car. and of course plenty of 911, 356, 928, 968. Food is great, and the entire event takes place in the middle of the city park, so where ever you are you are almost certain to be in the shade under a three. Years ago when I used to have a decent car, I showed my 1986 Carrera wide body, and took 3rd place in 911 air cooled.

I guess that the car spent more time being pampered than driven, really DRIVEN! Nice car though......
