Our Cayenne did not come with a rearview camera.  A nice to have for parking, and a REALLY nice to have when hooking up the boat trailer.

After an unsuccessful integration with the PCM using Dension AVR (couldn't get CAN buss to communicate), I decided to try a rearview mirror with a monitor built in.

I selected the Gentex 50-GENK352.  Gentex provides OEM mirrors to several auto manufacturers and their quality if vastly better than other aftermarket mirrors.  (the others have poor day view due to the monitor integration.

The Gentex is great.  Mirror both day and night is as good as a standard mirror, and the monitor is clearer than the PCM's display.

The mirror comes with a standard windshield mount so I had to modify it by cutting the mount our of the existing mirror and epoxying to the new one.  Result looks stock.
