In the past some of you have expressed an interest in a tech session for the March Zone 2 DE at VIR.   We could certainly put one together, but would need more than just Kenny B to show up (unless Terry decides to drive the R32 or the Lotus which are the only cars he ever brings to tech Smile).

Let me know what you think.

You are kidding, right?  Big Grin

Just in case, or for others who are new, all cars participating in a Drivers Education event with RTR or in this case Zone 2 are required to have their car pass a Safety/Tech Inspection prior to being allowed to participate in the event.

Tech Sessions are usually scheduled two weekends in advance of the event at one of the various dealerships or performance/maintenance shops in the region.   We charge a $20 dollar lift fee to offset the cost of the service techs who help us, otherwise the inspection is free of charge.

It's also a great opportunity to socialize and to learn more about your car, and sometimes we might eat a pizza or two.  Wink

More specifics about the tech schedule are included in the 2012 DE Schedule post and soon to be on the RTR website.  You can also PM or e-mail me at safety@rtr-pca.org

A tech session for Zone 2 would also be helpful for those going to NJMP with Schattenbaum 3/17 & 18.  I can help.

Excellent idea, Jimbeau!  And Bill has a pretty good idea too if it would bring in a few more cars to make the whole thing worthwhile.

Jim,

I ran tech at the PBOC event at Sebring 2 weeks ago and found over 3/4 of the cars had seat belt installation issues. I would like to get togeather with our tech guys to make sure we are up to specs on these installs.

Jim:

I'd be interested in getting tech'd for the SCH event as well. I think there are quite a few of us attending that event instead of VIR.

THANKS!
