I registered with the online system and did the test.   Does Shenandoah open midnight on the 27th?

My understanding is that it will open at 12:00AM on February 28th.  When you set an opening date for an event, the way the software works is when the clock turns to12:00 AM on the opening date.  I think I remember Jack Kramer saying he was investigating if this could be changed to a more resonable hour but that is how it works at this time.

for those of us who work for a living (or at least for 3 1/2 months of the year)Big Grin, we're still working at midnight, so it's only a matter of remembering to go to the site to register.  I guess I should set a reminder in Outlook.

Even at midnight, it's better and easier than getting to the meeting 2 hours early to stand in line.

OK gang, I had an idea on this midnight issue and spoke with the folks at Motorsportreg. Good news - we've got a solution! We're going to tell the system our club is on Pacific Time. Therefore, registration will open at 9:00pm on Feb 28th.

That's a much more reasonable hour.

De me a favor - remember that you didn't have to stay up until midnight to register when you don't get the instructor you requested, or number of students you were looking for later this year Big Grin

Take care,
Jack

Jack, the only problem with 9:00 on the 28th is that we'll be at the meeting at Dougherty's.  Or is the time really 9:00 pm on the 27th?

Hang on a minute - I went the wrong way on the timezone thing.  Midnight pacific is 3:00 am eastern, which is worse, not better.  Can't believe I screwed that up.  I travel all of the time, in fact I just got back from the west coast.

Don't know if we can go into the atlantic with the club's "time zone" or not.  Will check it out and report back.  I'm pretty sure we can solve this issue one way or another.
