How many 914 owners do we have?

I've always love the the look of the 914 and am considering pulling the plug on getting one.

I'm looking at a '73 1.8 modified to 2.0.  Good overall condition; seat and dash cracks.  Good paint, near to no rust.


How much is typically "too much" for 914s?  I'm thinking $7500 max expecting to have to put a couple grand in to fix the minor issues.  I know this is a tough question given the lack of details.

It looks to be in fine shape.  It has a number of expensive upgrades, the value of which are always in the eyes of individual Buyers.
