Cheers Cheers Cheers Cheers Cheers

The second half of the Cup has arrived. Time has come to start planning for our next race.

We will be going to the NNJR PCA race at Giants Stadium in the Meadowlands. It is a chance to race in the shadow of a stadium where super bowl champions play. You cannot say that about Lincoln Financial Field.

We have not been to this venue in a few years and it will be exciting. Nick is apparently the only autocross racer to be old enough to have experienced an NNJR race.

Let’s have a great parade to the show.

You may register for the event on MotorSportReg.com:

Dave is right! I have competed there for a few years, and I must say that the venue is the best you will see anywhere. NNJR has lots of members, so expect to see many Porsches and a bunch of nice and good drivers.
Come and meet us on July 13 early in the morning for a caravan drive up to the MetLife stadium. We should meet on the first Northbound plaza in the NJMSP Turnpike, just north of where the Pa Turnpike (exit 6).

Nick

Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad

It is looking iffy for Maggie and I. The mean green machine may not finish rehab by next Sunday. We will know more next week.

The good news, it was the clutch and associated parts and nothing more. Waiting to hear on the fly wheel when they pull it appart.

Dave,
Nudge those monkeys with a six PAC of beer. They will get it done!

Unfortunately, I will not take part in this event; I will be in Canada with my family to celebrate my mother in law's 80th birthday.

See you all on the next one.

Registration opens at 8:00, I don't know if traffic will be an issue, is anyone familiar with that area?
