Just saw this on Rennlist, looks like a good alternative to American Collectors since they are no longer writing DE policies.

Looks like premium is 3% of insured value with 2K deductible and unlimited track days.  Not bad.

If this is really true, YOU DONE GOOD TUTA LOU.

I just received two Word Doc's from the insurer about the program.  Please email me at RTRMembership@verizon.net if you would like a copy.

Great job Lou.

I called Laurel Monday and it didn't suit me.   They only sell minimum of 30 day policies in $30k increments for $1218 per unit and a $5k deductible.

I plan to call these guys on Monday.

I left Chris a message asking him to return my call on Monday.  If this is for real, he's going to be busier than he could have imagined.

It only makes sense that some insurer replaces American Collectors to offer this coverage even at higher premiums.   Thank you capitalism!

I had just gotten a quote from Laurel this week and am still in shock. They will only write it if I agree that the value of my car is 40K (its not worth that much) and they want $1620 for 30 DE days. (thats days - not events)  with a 20% deductible.  So unless the car is toast I wll be paying most of the repair bill out of pocket (deductible is 8K).  I have contacted Snellings Walters Motorsports Insurance and will let you know if they write in PA.  Based on the examples I have seen on Rennlist they seem to be about 1/2 the price of Laurel and their deductible is only 2K.  I am covered untill May 1 by American Collectors.

Interesting that Laurel seems to give different people different information. I wanted 30K and they would only underwrite me at 40K. Deductible they quoted was 20% not 5K.

Thats what I was told.   It is also consistent with what Patrick told me at the meeting last week although he insured twice as much.

They told me that the 10 or 20 days offerred on their site (password is: rolex) is no longer offered with the minimum increment being 30 days which was more than I needed.

Brian, I'd be intereseted in hearing what they quoted as the minimum # of track days.
