Porsches at PJ's is now Porsches, Exotics and Classics!

Not going to the Club Race at Monticello? Want to have a great time and see literally TONS of Exotics, Classics and (of course) Porsches? Then SAVE THE DATE and join us Saturday, October 11th at Porsches, Exotics and Classics at the Iron Hill Brewery in North Wales for not only one of the best car shows I’ve personally ever seen, but with all proceeds going directly to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (Eastern PA chapter).

This is the fifth year running and the event has raised more than just money for charity; it has raised awareness of a very worthy cause. The format will be similar to prior years with a silent auction, raffles, prizes and one of the best concentrations of automotive machinery around, with expectations of more than 100 cars!

NOTE: Riesentöter members are always looking for ways to get involved in charity events; I am therefore soliciting volunteers to help check in show entrants, man tables, etc. Please contact me directly (see below) if you can help out before or during the event.

Stay tuned for updates and event details which will be posted as we get them…

Event Information:
DATE: October 11, 2014
PROGRAM: 9 am sign in, 10 am show start. Judging to be completed by 2-2:30, awards presented by 3 pm.
VENUE: Iron Hill Brewery, 1460 Bethlehem Pike, North Wales (The Shops at English Village)

Rather than update my previous post with changes, here are the latest details for the car show which includes rain date and links to register. Still looking for volunteers... no experience necessary!

We are set for October 11th for the Porsches, Exotics and Classics "Peoples Choice" car show. We are still looking for volunteers for the event to help with check-in, setup etc. (this will not preclude you from entering the show). Please let me know if you plan on attending or can otherwise help us out. It's going to be a great time!

I would like to personally thank the RTR membership for rallying around this cause; we have nearly a dozen volunteers helping out for the event and it promises to be a great time. Consider entering your own car... it's only ten bucks and 100% goes to charity! Here's how to register or get details for the event:

RTR members have proved once again that they know how to come out and support a cause. With the weather threatening most of the morning, our club packed the lot, accounting for most of the showing. We had ZERO american makes and ONLY ONE Italian entry.

That said, it was the best attendance I've ever seen for a crummy weather show. We made up almost half of what attended last year in the sun; not too shabby. And again, much of the showing was RTR. Too early to tell what accumulated in terms of profits, but the auction went very well and there was a donation jar with some significant contributions.

My special thanks to the volunteers, and to the attendees that came. People seemed to be having a great time despite the wet stuff. Thank-you for your support for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Hopefully next year will have sun!!
