ATTENTION CLUB RACERS!!!
RTR will be hosting the "Monticello Stuttgart Challenge" PCA Club Race at Monticello Motor Club (MMC) on Oct 10-12, 2014. Registration opens tonight, Sept 1st, at 10pm eastern time on clubregistration.net (CR.net). The fees are $650/driver and $100/crew (a.k.a. non-driver). Everyone attending the club race must be pre-registered on CR.net and have paid their corresponding fee(s). This includes all drivers and crew (all non-drivers).

Due to insurance reasons, MMC does not entertain spectator events. So, if you wish to attend the event and are not racing, you must be a member of someone's crew. Please find a friend that you know is racing and offer to be one of their crew members for the weekend. Please remember that there will be an MMC amenities fee of $100/crew member that must paid by each driver on CR.net.

For each driver:
Friday = practice sessions and a fun race
Saturday = warm up, qualifying, and two 30 minute sprint races
Sunday = warm up, a 40 minute sprint race in the morning, and a 30 minute combined sprint race in the afternoon

For all drivers and crew:
All MMC amenities will be available for the entire weekend. This includes a hot breakfast and lunch all 3 days along with cold refreshments being served throughout the day. On Friday and Saturday evening, hors d'oeuvers will be served with beer and wine once the track goes cold.

Keep in mind, MMC is a private country club for car enthusiasts and is truly one of a kind. So, if you have never driven MMC and are already a club racer, please come join us for this inaugural PCA Club Racing event.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks, Marty Kocse, RTR Track Chair, track@rtr-pca.org

Congratulations to Marty and the whole Speed Council team for pulling this together--it's a major effort and the first time in many years our Club has sponsored a club race (although Mike Andrews and many others have organized the Zone 2 club race at VIR for several years).

This is a rare opportunity to race the full Monticello circuit. Act now because the number of cars is quite limited and there is no assurance Monticello (a strictly private club) will invite PCA back in our lifetime!
