Gang,

As you know, I'm editting in-car video, primarily from Bob Turgeon (thanks again Bob), for use in our classroom sessions.

I tried to find laps where there is a car in front of Bob so you get 2 visual references of the line - as the car in front enters the corner - then as Bob executes the corner.

I have Shenandoah and Pocono North completed, and am working on similar videos for our other tracks.

I've uploaded these to Google Video and Peter has a spot on the RTR Web Site that contains the links:

http://www.rtr-pca.org/50th-Anniversary/...tml#video1

These are not full sessions, but a few selected, well executed, laps that demonstrate the proper line.

Sometimes it's hard to get the exact footage I'm looking for, so please feel free to send me yours if you think it meets the above criteria.

Take care,
Jack

BTW - Todd's VIR video footage does NOT meet that criteria Confusedhock:

Darren, I had the sound edited, I was singing off key to "fast car" by Tracy Chapman and it was offensive.  Wink

Thanks for the courtesy in that case.

I do like that Shenandoah video, only one place to learn how to exit the Karussel like that Smile I need to take some rides with people to see how they are taking the downhill-offcamber (is there a real name??) before the main straight. I don't think any car handles well there, and I don't think I can do your line at that speed in any car I drive.

There was sound on the original, but it got lost somewhere in the multiple conversions I played around with in the file format :?

Check mine out!  It has sound and a beautiful 997  GT3 in it.

I love my new camber setting and correct sized tires.

Kam, what tires and sizes did you go with?  How about camber?

And the new GT3 - does he know what an apex is?
