I'd recommend reading some of the trailer threads on Rennlist for inspiration. There are quite a few, but this one stands out: https://rennlist.com/forums/trucks-and-t...diary.html
You don't see too many gooseneck trailers in the smaller sizes, so if you're looking to haul one car at a time you're probably going to have more options with a standard hitch.
As for the DE events, hopefully you're not out there to compete...! ;-) Typically there's a trailer drop window the night before most events and you will leave your car/trailer at the track until ready to tow home.
Thanks for the feedback. I think you mean Cargo Trailer in Lansdale. Those guys are great. I have been meaning to head over there anyway to get some spare straps.
I spoke to them about goosenecks and they said that I'd probably have to order from new to get something like that since most guys go with a very large trailer if they run a gooseneck. I find it odd but they made a good point that it was mostly due to the fact that to run w/ a 20' deck area for a car you need to get a 28' foot trailer. I don't really find this to be an issue however I can see the argument to get the extra 4' of deck area for that size trailer.
As for competing... lol, that's true. However since I drive a Miata, it's a competition just getting that thing up to speed without a tail wind and gravity :-D.
