I used to stay at the Hampton Inn in Inwood, WV, about 25 minutes from the track and a little closer to Philadelphia than Charles Town or Winchester. I would get a track discount, too. I guess I stayed there too often--at least one year I got a Xmas card from the staff.

What is the current popular motel for our DEs at SP?

Chris -

I generally use the Hampton in Charles Town (yea the weekend pricing is a bit much but it's close to the track)

However for the Club Race we've found some AirBnB options that are very attractive. Might want to try one of them.

Hi Bob, we missed you at our Monticello club race.

I've been pointed to the Quality Inn in Kearneysville. Plan to give that a try.

SP is a great place to camp out. Cost is next to nothing and REAL close to the track.
