Last night was my first PCA meeting and heard a bit of discussion about the upcoming tech session.

Could someone give a brief overview of what these encompass? As a newbie, I'm interested in learing all I can about the care and feeding of my 911.

Thanks,

CB

the tech session is primarily for the cars that are going to the DE event - Pocono in a few weeks.  At this session, our tech inspectors (club members who have knowledge and training) go through a checklist (found on our website) to ensure that the cars don't have particular issues.  They check your brake pads, rotors, look for leaks and many other things.  If deficiencies are found, you have time to get them fixed.  a nominal fee ($20) is charged.

as a newbie or oldbie, you are able to stop by and see what goes on.  You can learn things about your car by watching the inspections or if anyone is working on their cars.

I agree that it's good to know more about your car and the tech sessions are a great start.

Hopefully, I'll see you there.
