Man, am I ever jealous.  You get to watch rails ripping up the track, and I am stuck putting new strut inserts on the BMW.

Wanna trade?

It was a really good day... nothing beats watching these cars scream up the track, then watch them being stripped and rebuilt for the next run.

Here are some photos for those that will not have time to attend, or watch it on tv this weekend.

What amazed me of how good a simulation of an earthquake these nitro funny cars were able to perform... it was a good thing that I took hearing protection, as the ground literally shook.... I wondered what was going on when the first one left the line.

... it was actually quite a challenge to get a photograph of an object moving at high speed while holding the camera with one hand and my ear protectors against my ear with the other.
