2007 Riesentöter AutoX+ Roadshow
Presented by Specialty Cars of Allentown PA
http://www.specialtycarsservicecenter.com

Lets start with an apology - OOOOOPs - this AutoX does clash with MAW DE at Pocono - Sorry!!!

The SIXTH AutoX event in our 'RTR AutoX+ Roadshow' will be the Central PCA Autox at Hershey in 3 weeks time on Sunday 23rd September. Their website says this is the largest single paved area in the state of Pennsylvania.

For more info, go to http://www.cpa-pca.org/
then go events, 2007, SEP, 23rd -fall autox

Directions - aim for the Giant centre on route 39  - Directions to Hershey Giant Center: 100 W Hersheypark Dr, Hershey, PA. 717-534-3911
http://www.hersheypa.com/events/giant_center/location_directions.html

Start time - 8am, 2 runs groups, plan to finish by 1pm

Caravan - If anyone wants to caravan to the event together, suggest meet at  the 'Peter J. Camiel' service plaza on the Turnpike - 8 miles west of Downingtown exit (312)at 6.30am (available Westbound Only)

RTR run group - as per SCCA, we will request an RTR run group - more info to follow -- only issue to note is that Central have asked that we do not have 2 drivers in any car if we want the RTR group as that would screw them up!

Price - $25 for PCA members (up $5 from last time)

Registration - event is limited to 60 cars (ish) so if interested please register early online using link above. Please add a note to say with Riensentoter so we can run in same group.

Parking - all try to park together

Safety - you will need a Helmet which must be rated Snell 95 rated or newer, "M" or "SA" (as dictated by SCCA national rules).

PAX Championship-
Points will be awarded for attendance & final position at this event

Cheers  Steve, Beth & Graham

Is anyone planning on heading to Hershey this weekend?  I did the last one in Warminster, and have been looking forward to this for a while...

There were 3 of us, but I will take 3rd place any way i can.

Wow you guys missed out...Turn 2 and 3 were so far apart, you could just go really,  really wide and call it turn 2, Flat out in second gear.  It was so fast, i ran out of motor...then ran out of brakes and then tires as i went straigt in to turn 4. hehehehe.

Hope Pocono was a blast.

Another fun day.

Lessons learned by a newbie:

1. Don't coast into a corner; stay on the gas, then quick onto the brake.
2. Instructors are your friend!
3. The Cayman S makes me seem like a much better driver than I really am.
4. Most important lesson: when the tech-inspector suggests taking out your floor matts, listen to him. That way you won't destroy your clutch on the first run, as the clutch-pedal gets stuck under the matt, and you inadvertantly ride the clutch from "go" to the first turn... Sorry if the noxious smell made anyone ill.

It was a fun day until that white Cayman S pulled out a much faster final run vs my 54.0 Sad

Anyone know where the final results are listed for the entire event?
Thanks!
