This is from one of the sites that sends me info regularly.  I haven't seen any details on this "new model", but speaking as someone looking to spend some "safety dollars" before next season, this caught my attention.

So I am passing it on JIC there are others on the HANS fence that might want to save $200 dollars.

Any comments on the extra 1/2 pound?

Dear Customer,

Starting in January Hans is offering a low-priced Hans device for sedans for $695.  This is $200 less than the present model. The drawback is it will weigh 2 pounds versus 1.5 pounds but this is still incredible considering the safety benefits. Please call now to reserve your unit because I am sure they will be in short supply for the first part of the year and I would like to order them now to insure their availability.

Visit http://www.teamdi.com and check out our helmet lines. You will find SA2005 helmets starting at $129.95 for an open-face and $199.95 for a full-face model. We still have plenty of SA2000 models on sale so call me for a special price.

I am here to serve you with ideas for your holiday gift ideas so please give me a call at 1-800-275-4667. We also offer gift certificates.

Sincerely,

Bob Zecca
