Wednesday December 3rd was our literal food drive
Just a very quick message, I couldn't be more proud of our members and friends. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to all of you who made the first Phil-a-Frunk for Philabundance a huge success. The weather parted just in time and it certainly was a sight to behold. So here are the numbers: 131 Porsches plus a few other friends, over 2 miles in caravan formation...now for the great stuff....our Riesentöters brought with them 11 pallets of non perishables, which equates to 7,460.5 pounds of food or over 8,000 meals - put it this way, the first time WMMR Preston and Steve did their Camp out for Hunger they received just over a ton of food...so for our first time out we did a fantastic job in helping to fill the food banks for Philabundance. Oh and not to mention our quick little raffle for the Porsche Unexpected book (makes a great holiday present) and a gift basket from Capital Grille, we raised an additional $770 that went straight to Philabundance.
So I would like to personally thank, all four of our area Porsche Dealers, Porsche of Bucks County, Porsche of Conshohocke, Knopf's Automotive, and Porsche of the Main Line, plus Capital Grille helped fill a car or two, thanks to Upper Merion Township Police for helping us through the holiday traffic of the mall, Oink and Moo BBQ for filling our personal frunks prior to the drive, and to DDR for letting us use their parking lot to kick off our event.

Preston and Steve thanked us, listen to their podcast about the 54min mark.
All I can really say is WOW WOW WOW and THANK YOU! (more will come later in Der Gasser and Pano)
