I rather enjoyed the work assignments as a chance to meet people and have a chat. Of course in the rain or cold, or cold rain, it's not so enjoyable. And I do understand that it is hard to find someone to swap with if you need to leave early and have the last assignment. RTR never had the amazingly silly work requirements that NNJR had, and about which so many people complained.

Maybe the assignments could be divided into quarter days instead of half days, though?
