Auto cross enthusiasts!
While this thread pertains to the charity event, I am sad to say that we will not have an event this year due to the inability to secure a site that would not cost $5000.00. With short notice, the Wachovia Center would not donate the site, and we felt that doing an AX there and paying more than 50% of the charity fund raising for autocrossing would have been like hoarding. When I see poor children suffering, AX does not mean anything to me or those kids. I like to see 100% of the proceeds to go for a good cause! not less than half.

I have a new charity event in the works and slated for later on in the year....easy peasy and everyone will be able to participate.....I want at least a 100 cars....more information will be coming soon.

Good news, what is the charity and there should be lots of time for fund raising and acquire sponsors as well as companies that want to sell their wares.

It's easier than that and a small hint - it's already on our calendar though the date may change slightly
