I'm with you on this Beth - don't change the rules once they're set. That's gotta be hard on the ones that show the commitment to do AX

I would generally agree with you ... except that as this is the first year of a new format, we have already changed the rules twice this year: once to allow non-Porsche cars to compete and again, to invent the concept of participation points after no-one wanted to travel down to Ripken.

As we've said many times, we do this for fun! If I'd known it would be taken so seriously, I would have (i) asked Graham for a pay rise and (ii) checked that the pax factors submitted accurately reflect the cars........

I understand the matter will be discussed at the EXEC meeting tonight. The Agenda is:

1) Go to Walmart to buy some towels

2) Mop up the spilt mik

3) Discuss Herschey autoX

As their humble servant, I will do what I'm told ----- who would have thought AutoX could be so exciting!

Ok Ladies and Gentlemen

The FIA, I mean EXEC have spoken! Final decision was to award full points for Hershey but to also give 10 participation points to those at MAW who would have attended Herschey if the autoX sub committee (and by autoX sub-commitee, I mean me) had not messed up the dates

 

Congrats to Pete, who came second at Herscehy and now leads the championship with 121 points - please see sepereate post for full standings
