The whole harness thing is a scam. My last set of harneses were perfect without any sewing coming apart, and I had to spend $300.00 plus to buy new ones................ and they were already a year old (fresh out of the box) when I got them in the mail.
If I am only doing DE, what does it matter? For racing it might as well be a different matter. Do those flimsy factory retractable belts have an exieration date? NOOOOOOO! So the harness manufacturers have their lobyists and lawyers at every racing and sportscar sanctioning body headquarters. Don't tell them anything about AX, or they may come over there too.
